Phytogenic Trace Mineral Capsules

T. J. Clark Phytogenic Trace Mineral Capsules:

T. J. Clark has made our world-famous Phytogenic Trace Minerals even more easy to enjoy. The naturally-occurring full spectrum of minerals and trace elements are now available in capsule form.

T. J. Clark's Colloidal Minerals were collected, dehydrated, and the extracts of minerals removed, and combined with other high quality elements for a phytogenic blend of minerals unlike those commonly found in dietary supplements.

Trace Mineral Capsules from T. J. Clark & Company contain the following elements in these typical amounts.

Calcium - Few nutrients are as well-studied as Calcium, and it health effects are many. Far from being just the bone mineral, Calcium plays a part in a number of other biological actions such as heart beat, rate and rhythm, nerve transmission and muscle contraction.

Magnesium - Magnesium is an essential mineral in humans with a direct involvement in over 300 metabolic reactions. It is necessary for every major biological process, including the production of cellular energy and the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. It is also important for the electrical stability of cells, the maintenance of cell membrane integrity, muscle contraction, nerve conduction and the regulation of vascular tone. Deficiency of Magnesium can lead to a wide variety of serious disorders, while ingesting a proper amount may lead to improvements in such conditions as Cardiac arrhythmia's, high blood pressure, menstrual disorders, migraine headaches and bone demineralization. A great deal of research information is available on Magnesium from scientific sources.

Potassium  - Potassium is an essential macromineral with a wide range of biochemical and physiological roles. It is important in the transmission of nerve impulses, the contraction of cardiac, skeletal and smooth muscle, the production of energy, the synthesis of nucleic acids, the maintenance of intracellular tonicity, and the maintenance of normal blood pressure. Accumulating evidence suggests that diets high in Potassium may be protective not only against hypertension, but also strokes and cardiovascular disease and possibly other degenerative diseases as well.

Zinc  - Zinc is another essential element in humans, vital for growth and development, sexual maturity and reproduction, dark vision adaptation, sense of smell and taste, insulin storage and release, and for a variety of immune defenses. Even borderline deficiency or disturbances in Zinc metabolism can have profound adverse health effects. Zinc deficiency has been shown to impair immunity in many ways. Zinc deficiency has also been shown to impair placental transport of antibodies from mother to fetus. There is even preliminary evidence that Zinc can produce benefit in some with rheumatoid arthritis. Diminished Zinc blood levels have been reported in some with this disease. Zinc has demonstrated an ability to inhibit lymphocyte reaction in some of these subjects. Overall, more is being learned about this superstar in human nutrition every day, and research efforts are continuing.

Selenium - Selenium is an essential trace element in human nutrition involved in the defense against the toxicity of reactive oxygen species, also in the regulation of thyroid hormone metabolism, and the regulation of the oxidation state of cells. Selenium has also been shown to have an anticarcinogenic activity, and to inhibit the effects of a number of toxic metals, including cadmium and arsenic. Proteins in the high-Selenium form of yeast are enzymatically digested in the small intestine to yield amino acids, oligopeptides, and L-Selenomethionine.

Iron  - Iron is an essential trace mineral in humans. It is involved in the entire process of breathing, including oxygen transport and electron transport. Iron-deficiency, which can lead to anemia, is the most common nutritional disorder in the world. Approximately 25% of the world's population is Iron-deficient. In addition to its fundamental roles in respiration and energy production, Iron is involved in DNA synthesis and may also play roles in normal brain development, and in immune function. Iron is also involved in the synthesis of collagen and in the synthesis of serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. There is also some evidence Iron may diminish learning problems and enhance cognition in some children and adolescents with Iron deficiency. In one study, the effects of iron supplements were tested in adolescent girls with non-anemia iron deficiency to see if they might improve cognition. This was a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. Subjects were randomized to receive 650 mg of Iron twice daily, or a placebo for eight weeks. Those with Iron supplementation were reported to perform significantly better than those of the placebo group on tests related to verbal learning and memory.

Phosphorous  - Phosphorous is an essential mineral that plays pivotal roles in the structure and function of nearly every part of the body. Approximately 85% of phosphorus is located in the bones, with the rest making up the structure of the teeth, the cellular membranes, nucleic acids, and nucleotides. While not as famous as Calcium, Zinc or Iron, Phosphorus has been referred to by some scientists as the element, "around which life is built". Deficiency can result in anorexia, impaired growth, osteomalacia, bone demineralization, muscle atrophy, weakness, cardiac irregularities, respiratory dysfunction and many other disorders. Some studies have been conducted to suggest that supplemental Phosphorus may benefit endurance exercise, and increase the ability to take up oxygen.

In addition to the above named elements, our trace mineral capsules contain an all-natural blend of up to 65 additional elements including Copper, Chromium, Boron, Manganese, Molybdenum, Silver, and Vanadium, plus dozens of other elements combining to make one truly effective multimineral supplement.

The elements of T. J. Clark's Trace Mineral Capsules combine to restore proper chemistry and balance to your body. This unique blend of naturally occurring minerals works at the cellular level to restore and maintain health by increasing the efficiency of dozens of biological processes spanning almost the entire function of the human body. This organic complex of phytogenic minerals and elements have been researched and perfected for almost 80 years, during which time we have done more to advance the science of phytogenic chemistry, and mineral nutrition than any other company.
